About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am a qualified,  professional counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am based in North Somerset, working in Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and surrounding areas.

During the pst 6 years, I have worked as a counsellor in private, voluntary sector and educational setting. This has given me broad experience of working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, age groups and from many walks of life.

I have a specific interest and experience of working with adults and young people who experience autism, aspergers and learning difficulties amongst other challenges.

I also welcome clients that live with physical disabilities, health conditions or suffer with chronic pain.

Following a serious road traffic accident I have first hand experience of living with a long term physical disability I believe this gives me a depth of empathy for others living with disability or chronic pain.

Alongside my private practice I currently provide specialist individually tailored one to one support to students in higher education helping them address barriers to learning, created by a particular impairment, e.g. mental health issue and/or autistic spectrum condition.

I offer short and long term counselling and work with young people (11 years upwards) and adults of all ages.
